Child Q: Protests continue all over London about the outrage of a child strip search help by police officers.    A child had been suspected of carrying cannabis at a school in Hackney which led to her being strip-searched whilst she was on her menstrual cycle in front of others.   The young schoolgirl was relieved as she thanked does that are speaking up for her and released a statement saying, “I know I’m not alone”. This traumatic occasion happed in early December 2020 but was only brought to the attention of the public due to a safeguarding report.    This case has led people other than members of the public like politicians, and campaigners to be completely enraged with the Met police.   Scotland yard stated, “The school smelt a strong odour of cannabis and suggested the girl may have been in possession of drugs.” Bhatt Murphy This then led to a search by the school and female officers where it was then found that there had been no drugs found on the ch...

SARS   BAN: Police brutality is an extreme experience in Nigeria and protesters have had enough   Protesters all over Africa, Europe, and Canada have joined together demanding that the special anti-robbery squad or Sars must be put to an end.   Although Sars has been banned they are furious at the fact that this officer has been employed to other police units rather than being disciplined.   Once the news that the police officers that were included in Sars were just redeployed the numbers of protesters rapidly increased.   The situation seemed to have angered so many people that celebrities paused their careers to come out and protest with other campaigners.     Just like the UK and the USA, this is not the first time a protest based on police brutality has been done in Nigeria.    Although there has been protest going on for the last 4 days based on the police brutality, this has not seemed to have stopped the police from using weapons again...

Mental health - Article

It is found that many students experience mental health issues during university. But what shall others do to aid them? Many people of all ages can experience a wave of sadness occasionally, but some people experience sadness that can last up to a few weeks. This could be a sign of depression. However, the symptoms of mental health can be shown in a different way such as being numb and feeling low. Nevertheless, other people's symptoms may not be as obvious as someone else's and they may want to keep it this way to not worry family and friends.  Whilst being in higher education staff and students should be able to have a mental health check occasionally and this can be done by simply checking up on people. An organisation based on mental health (WPCS – with pain comes strength) said “To help those experiencing mental health issues you must understand them and advise them to seek help from an expert. Heck in on them so that they know someone cares and they are not alone” Student...
